European Ecolabel

Since April 2010 our accommodation with its ecolodge has obtained the European Ecolabel . For you this label is a guarantee for a sustainable stay. This certification is in addition to the Tourism & Handicap label that we proudly display.

Our 3*** certified hotel is located between the sea and the mountains in Aquitaine in the Landes department, in the heart of Chalosse (near Hagetmau and Amou), a territory very close to the land and nature. In order to preserve the environment in which we are located, we have implemented many actions.

- Use of low-energy bulbs
- Production of hot water from solar panels
- Soy fiber mattress and bamboo cotton cover
- Wooden construction
- Preservation of green spaces
- Personal vegetable garden
- Ecological spa "Dutchtub"

In order to go further in our approach, we relied on the benchmark of the European Ecolabel for tourist accommodation. This official label is a sign of environmental quality certified by AFNOR Certification and valid on a European scale.

Thanks to this certification, our eco-label hotel actively contributes to:

- the use of renewable energy sources;
- energy and water savings;
- to the reduction of waste production;
- to the improvement of the local environment and therefore of the Aquitaine region.

These are environmental gestures that you have probably already introduced at home.

We find it important and also logical that these actions continue during your stay with us. Living sustainably is not complicated. It is living normally, comfortably, choosing a better variant!

Ecolodge in Les Landes
Our lodge La Cabane des Canards with its ecological spa meets 100% of the European ecolabel. It is adapted to the nature of its environment (same construction as the duck cabins), semi-autonomous thanks to its photovoltaic panels and furnished with local products (mattress, duvet, pouf etc. etc.)
